Doechii taking stage in Phoenix
PHOENIX- The Swamp community came together to embrace Doechii’s glow at Arizona Financial Theatre.
On Nov. 3, Doechii made her Phoenix stop as she closes out the West Coast end of her “Live From the Swamp” tour. With two weeks left in the United States, the artist brought all the glamour to the heart of Arizona.
Before Doechii’s performance, Dallas artist Kal Banx shared songs from his new album RHODA, which centers on community, comfort and vulnerability.
Performing two tracks from RHODA, Banx introduced “CHICKEN,” a reflection on life experiences that shaped his self-expression, and “LOSE CONTROL,” which displayed his Dallas flow and authenticity onstage.

Kal Banx is an emerging underground artist and is making his mark with his first tour. He has nearly 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. With his most-streamed track, “Wat U Sed,” being a 2021 collaboration with Doechii and Isaiah Rashad. His new album, RHODA, features 25 songs that showcase his personality and range.
After Kal Banx energized the crowd, Doechii didn’t disappoint. Her school-themed entrance gave Phoenix “lessons” in confidence and creativity.
Doechii appeared in style, performing on a beatbox-inspired set complete with a slide and rotating platform. The 27-year-old artist performed new tracks from her Alligator Bites Never Heal album, along with many fan favorites.
Hits like “NISSAN ALTIMA,” “Anxiety” and “DENIAL IS A RIVER” showed her trendsetting energy and pop-star artistry. She also incorporated Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar’s “America Has a Problem,” blending her flow for the Phoenix crowd.
Songs such as “Alter Ego” and “GTFO” amplified the energy in the venue as fans sang along and matched her intensity. The show featured interactive moments where Doechii read signs from fans, recognized familiar faces from TikTok and accepted a blanket from an audience member for comfort.
Her setlist spanned her discography, from 2022’s “Swamp Bitches” to this year’s “Nosebleeds.” She closed the night with “WAIT,” which samples Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” encouraging the crowd to hold one another and appreciate the moment.
Both Doechii and Kal Banx emphasized community and gratitude throughout their performances by paying tribute to the people who have supported them along the way.
Doechii will wrap up her U.S. tour in Seattle on Nov. 10 before performing at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on Nov. 16.
