TEMPE, Ariz.– Tindal Muzic, an alternative soul duo, captivated the audience with an intimate performance at the Tempe History Museum on Jan.17, sharing their unique sound.
The show also featured a Q&A session, during which Jessica Tindal and her all-women band engaged with curious locals about the band's history and creative process.
Though Tindal initially emerged as a solo artist within the Vally music scene, her connection with current Tindal Muzic drummer Noelle Mendoza helped solidify the duo.
“We met volunteering at a rock camp here in Phoenix for youth, and maybe a year or so later we were like, ‘let’s jam’,” Tindal recalls to the audience. “We literally started writing a song the first time we jammed.”

Similar to the remainder of Tinal Muzic’s songs, their debut album, “ELEVEN ELEVEN,” embodied a distinctive and nuanced sound that blended soul, R&B, and alternative styles. Tindal Muzic claimed the songs on the album were created to promote a strong message of authenticity and staying true to one's individual character.
One standout track performed at the Tempe History Museum titled, “Forever” was from Tindal Muzic's most recent EP, “With Love”, and is currently their most streamed song on Spotify.

In addition to this success, Tindal is also known for her ability to play music by ear.
“I taught myself, so I don’t really know all the configurations and whatnot…” Tindal said. “... All I know is that there's sound, there's feel, and there's a mood.”
As Tindal Muzic continues to rise in the downtown music scene, they remain dedicated to creating a distinctive sound that expresses love, passion, and individuality.
“We don’t mind not fitting into any specific genre or formula,” Tindal told “Voyage Phoenix” in a local stories interview. “We get excited to see what genre or styles we can bend into next.”
